About The Position

This is a Part Time, Fully remote and autonomous PRN position providing infusions in the home setting for patients in the Atlanta, GA area. As a Home Infusion IVIG Registered Nurse (RN) you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field. This opportunity offers a work-life balance and the chance to build one-on-one relationships with patients. As a Home Infusion RN you will provide immune globulin infusion therapies in our patients' homes, using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients in the comfort of their own home. You will provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment. Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas. You will need excellent written and verbal customer service skills to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist, and other partners. This role challenges your clinical nursing (RN) skills by providing continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion. Certification and recertification expenses can be reimbursed for eligible RNs such as Immune Globulin Certified Nurse (IgCN).

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current license in Georgia and the ability to be licensed in other states.
  • Minimum one year nursing experience
  • Have and maintain current CPR certification
  • Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance (Liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL and no business exclusion clause)
  • Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Three years' nursing experience
  • One year infusion experience
  • Home healthcare experience
  • CRNI or IgCN certification preferred, not required
  • IV-related experience a plus
  • Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas

Responsibilities

  • Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in our patients' homes
  • Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
  • Document and track patient care activity.
