About The Position

This is a fully remote and autonomous PRN position providing home infusions for patients in the New Orleans, LA area. As a Home Infusion IVIG Registered Nurse (RN), you will work outside of a traditional hospital setting in a growing specialized area of nursing. This role offers a better work-life balance compared to hospital settings, allowing for quality patient care and the opportunity to build one-on-one relationships with patients. You will provide immune globulin infusion therapies in patients' homes, utilizing your clinical IV experience and personal touch. This includes one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment. Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas. Excellent written and verbal customer service skills are essential for interacting with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other partners. The role challenges clinical nursing skills through continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion, with reimbursement for eligible certifications like Immune Globulin Certified Nurse (IgCN). In this PRN role, you will visit patients in greater New Orleans and surrounding areas, with occasional travel up to 150-200 miles one way. Travel time is paid, and mileage is reimbursed.
