About The Position

At Kitchen Tune-Up, we transform homes through thoughtful and personalized kitchen updates. We offer 5 core services that fit a wide range of budgets and can be mixed and matched to meet each customer’s needs. We’re looking for a motivated, people-focused sales professional who enjoys working directly with homeowners and helping them bring their vision to life.

Requirements

  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Comfortable discussing home improvement or construction-related projects with homeowners
  • Basic understanding of remodeling, cabinetry, carpentry, construction materials, or residential renovations
  • Ability to read measurements and understand layouts/design concepts
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through abilities
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven
  • Professional demeanor suitable for working inside clients’ homes
  • Comfortable working evenings or weekends as needed for appointments
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in home improvement sales
  • Previous experience in kitchen and bath remodeling
  • Previous experience in construction sales
  • Previous experience in flooring, cabinetry, windows, roofing, or similar industries
  • Proven track record in sales and closing deals
  • Experience with estimating, quoting, or project consultation preferred
  • Familiarity with design software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Meet with homeowners to discuss kitchen remodeling projects
  • Conduct in-home consultations and showroom appointments
  • Build trust with clients by understanding their goals, budget, and vision
  • Present solutions across our full range of services including: Cabinet Painting, Cabinet Refacing, Redooring, New Cabinets, Countertops, Kitchen Tune-Ups and Accessories
  • Prepare proposals, estimates, and sales presentations
  • Utilize basic design software such as SketchUp or similar programs (training provided)
  • Follow up on leads and maintain communication throughout the sales process
  • Confidently ask for the sale and close projects professionally
  • Coordinate project details with our office and installation teams
  • Attend networking events and represent the company in the community
  • Perform final project walkthroughs to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals
