About The Position

At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Customer Outreach Specialist is responsible for performing calls to customers who have home improvement loan(s) with Home Improvement Financing and helping ensure contractor and customer relationships are strong. Regions Home Improvement Financing, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and independent contractors to provide Point-of-Sale financing capabilities. This enables these partners to provide homeowners with an additional option to pay for various improvements to their homes, benefitting both the contractor partner and the homeowner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of customer service or related experience
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Demonstrated professionalism and self-motivation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong typing skills with emphasis on speed and accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs calls for applications with home improvement loans that the Bank would like to further review
  • Processes Positive Confirmation (PC) calls and extra steps associated with PC calls in a timely manner to limit delaying payment to the contactor
  • Reviews and updates each account as needed
  • Maintains high level of customer service and accuracy in all job functions
  • Meets required production levels for call quality and quantity
  • Returns email and voicemail communications promptly
  • Recommends appropriate action if further review is necessary and raises any observations or concerns to Management, Sales, Credit, and/or Customer Relations in a timely fashion as needed
