About The Position

Mr. Handyman is looking for someone who understands home repairs and remodeling to help homeowners, build estimates, schedule work, and support our team of Service Professionals. Your experience in the trades will help customers understand their options and ensure every job is scheduled correctly. Instead of climbing ladders and crawling through attics every day, you'll use your knowledge to help customers solve problems while supporting one of the highest-rated handyman companies in Johnson County. This Position Is Perfect For Someone Who Has Worked As A: Handyman, Carpenter, Remodeler, Apartment Maintenance Supervisor, Construction Foreman, Drywall Installer or Finisher, Flooring Installer, Small General Contractor.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in residential construction, remodeling, or home maintenance
• Working knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, doors, trim, decks, tile, and general home repairs
• The ability to communicate clearly with homeowners and explain repair options
• Good computer skills and willingness to learn our estimating and scheduling software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Experience writing estimates, managing projects, running service calls, or supervising crews is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Speak with homeowners about repair and improvement projects
• Use your construction knowledge to recommend appropriate solutions
• Build estimates using our proven software
• Schedule jobs and coordinate our Service Professionals
• Review project details to ensure technicians arrive prepared
• Help customers understand project scope, timing, and expectations
• Support technicians with scheduling and job coordination throughout the day
