About The Position
The Home Health Speech Pathologist position at MultiCare offers an exciting opportunity to provide clinical services and communication with patients, families, and other professionals/service providers in the medical community. This role allows you to apply your extensive knowledge and expertise in speech pathology to patient care.
Requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association OR be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with supervision by a CCC-SLP in accordance with standards defined by the ASHA.
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington or holding an interim permit.
- Current BLS Certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, interpretation, and reporting of clinical observations.
- Perform patient assessments with physician and develop treatment plans.
- Perform and interpret results of Videofluoroscopic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic of swallowing.
- Confer with physician and other health care professionals.
