Requirements
- Master's Degree- Speech and Language Therapy- Required
- 1 Year Speech Therapy Experience - Required
- Speech Pathologist (SPE)- State Licensing Board - Required
- American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) -Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)- American Heart Association - Required
- Driver's License - Required
- Auto Insurance - Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 Year Home Health Experience - Preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations, treatment and related follow-up services, including discharge planning.
- Document patient assessments and pertinent information in a timely manner.
- Complete appropriate goal re-assessment and discharge planning.
- Provide speech therapy, including selection, and use of assistive equipment.
- Collaborate with patient and other healthcare personnel, or outside agencies, regarding coordination of care.
- Provide speech and language therapy, according to standards of care defined by the state practice act, and other professional and governing agencies.
- Train and educate patients and family members or others support, and document understanding of treatment plan and goals.
