About The Position

Residential Home Health and Hospice is a nationally recognized leader in home health and hospice, and a consistent Top Workplace. This is a part-time Home Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position providing skilled care to patients in their homes in the Lancaster, PA area. The role offers autonomy, meaningful patient relationships, and career growth. A $5,000 first-year success bonus is available, with further bonus opportunities based on tenure and achievements. The position involves delivering patient-centered care in a home health setting, performing comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, educating patients and caregivers, ensuring compliant EMR documentation, and traveling to patient homes within an assigned territory.

Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist, SLP license in the state you work.
• One year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care.
• Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled, patient-centered care in a home health setting, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations assessing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to support safety, independence, and quality of life.
• Educate and empower patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises.
• Think critically, solve problems in real time, and ensure thorough, compliant EMR documentation.
• Work independently, but never alone.
• Travel to patient homes within assigned territory.
