About The Position

Dependable Nurses, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for an overnight private duty nursing position in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role offers consistent overnight coverage every Friday night and every other Saturday night, from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. It is an excellent opportunity for nurses who prefer overnight shifts and desire a predictable schedule while providing meaningful one-on-one patient care in a home setting. Dependable Nurses, Inc., the Phoenix branch of Dependable Health Services, specializes in providing compassionate one-on-one skilled nursing care for medically fragile children and young adults in their homes. Our nurses deliver physician-directed care and build strong relationships with patients and their families.

Requirements

Active Arizona RN or LPN License (or Compact License)
Valid Arizona Driver's License
Current BLS Certification (online-only courses not accepted)
Current TB test or chest X-ray within the past 12 months
Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
Article 9 Training (assistance available)
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused

Responsibilities

Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care throughout the overnight shift
Complete patient assessments and follow the individualized plan of care
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor the patient throughout the night and report changes in condition
Collaborate with the patient's family and clinical team
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Safely assist with positioning, transferring, and other care needs as appropriate
Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment throughout the night
