About The Position
Varco Home Health is hiring a Home Health RN to provide one-on-one care in patients’ homes in Brownsville, Texas, and surrounding areas. This PRN position offers a flexible, self-managed schedule and independent work. The nurse will provide skilled nursing care, support patients and caregivers, monitor patient progress, and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Active Texas RN license.
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Home health or acute care experience.
- Kinnser/WellSky experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-home patient assessments.
- Develop and follow individualized care plans.
- Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication care, catheter care, and chronic disease management.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home care and safety.
- Monitor patient progress and update care plans.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation.
