About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide home health clinical services throughout the DFW area. This role involves providing one-on-one care to patients in their homes, making a meaningful difference in their lives. The position offers flexibility in scheduling, with opportunities for both visits and shifts, and PRN availability based on your schedule and patient needs. You will be part of a supportive clinical and leadership team, receiving paid orientation and weekly pay, with opportunities for professional growth and development as a W-2 employee.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Texas RN license
- Wound care experience required
- Wound VAC experience required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Recent TB test or chest X-ray
- Reliable vehicle and valid auto insurance
- Ability to pass required background and drug screenings
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Willingness to travel throughout the DFW service area as assigned
- Texas RN License
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Driver’s License
Nice To Haves
- 2–5 years of infusion experience preferred
- PICC care experience preferred
- Peripheral lab draw experience preferred
- Port experience is a plus
- Peripheral lab draws – 1 year
- PICC dressing changes – 1 year
- Infusion – 1 year
- Wound care – 1 year
- Wound VAC – 1 year
Responsibilities
- Provide home health clinical services according to each patient’s individualized Plan of Care
- Perform nursing services within the scope of the Texas Nurse Practice Act
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to appropriate personnel
- Provide specialized nursing services as required
- Perform infusion therapy, wound care, PICC care, and lab draws
- Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Educate and counsel patients and families regarding nursing and related needs
- Collaborate with the BrightStar Care team and other healthcare professionals
- Provide both visits and shifts as assigned
