About The Position
We are seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for a skilled home health position working with adult and geriatric medical/surgical patients throughout the Akron/Canton area. This is a field-based role with a well-established, stable home health agency. You will complete Start of Care (SOC) visits and recertifications within the first 60 days for each new patient. Current volume: ~1.5–2.5 hours per week to start, with opportunity for growth based on referrals.
Requirements
- Active RN license (Ohio)
- Home health experience required
- Strong OASIS documentation skills (must be fully competent)
- Willingness to travel throughout Akron/Canton area
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
Nice To Haves
- Russian speaking is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct and document clinical visits under the direction of the DON
- Complete Start of Care and recertification visits
- Perform supervisory visits as needed
- Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with the clinical team
- Support high-quality patient care and service standards
