About The Position
Puget Sound Hospice and Home Health is hiring in the greater Thurston County Area for a licensed Full-time or Part-time Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). We are looking for passionate individuals dedicated to providing quality patient care in our new Home Health division. We are building Washington’s premier Home Healthcare agency through exceptional human beings, innovative processes, and accountability to patient care. Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Washington state (or before your first day of work)
- Current BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience as a PTA preferred (new grads welcome with strong clinical skills)
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans designed by a licensed Physical Therapist in home health settings
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility activities
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe practices
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately, adhering to medical terminology standards
- Communicate effectively with supervising PT and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain compliance with best practices in physical therapy, particularly in geriatrics and home health
