About The Position
Varco Home Health is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy support in patients’ homes across the DFW area and surrounding communities. The role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, regain independence, and enhance their quality of life. This is a PRN position with a flexible, self-managed schedule and consistent patient volume available. Pay is up to $58 per visit.
Requirements
- Active Texas PTA license.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home setting.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience.
- Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
- Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support patient goals and functional independence.
