About The Position
Apollo Home Healthcare is offering a $1,500 hiring bonus for a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team in Alameda County. In this role, you’ll provide in-home physical therapy visits to patients in their homes, working closely with a supervising Physical Therapist and a supportive local clinical team. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Active California PTA license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes around Alameda County
Nice To Haves
- Home healthcare experience
- Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred (not required)
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home physical therapy visits under the supervision of a PT
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement
- Document visits in WellSky/Kinnser in a timely manner
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team
