Home Health Physical Therapist (Contract)
About The Position
BioMechanics is a PT-owned and operated company with over 10 years of committed service in home health care. We are on a mission to empower patients through compassionate, evidence-based care and are looking for dedicated Physical Therapists to join our team. This role involves providing in-home physical therapy for patients recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions, focusing on balance, strength, range of motion, home safety, and equipment assessments. Sessions are typically 45 minutes long, with 2-3 visits per patient per week. Therapists will use user-friendly software for documentation and progress tracking, managing a caseload of 1 to 7 patients weekly based on availability.
Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapist license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Physical exam within the past year.
- Negative TB test.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home physical therapy for patients recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions.
- Focus on balance, strength, range of motion, home safety, and equipment assessments.
