About The Position

AmeriStaff Nursing Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes throughout the Metro Detroit area. This is a contingent position offering a flexible schedule and competitive compensation. Therapists are paid $75 per one-hour evaluation and $75 per one-hour visit. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
• Minimum of one (1) year of occupational therapy experience
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and professional standards

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence and daily living skills
• Educate patients and family members on treatment techniques, safety, and home modifications
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes
