About The Position
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work with patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities and help them regain independence in daily activities. New graduates are welcome, and training will be provided. The areas of coverage include Metro Detroit, Down River, Redford, Westland, Livonia, Southfield, Novi, Canton, Warren, Sterling Heights, Pontiac, Waterford etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (ACOTE/AOTA accredited)
- NBCOT certification
- Valid state license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of rehabilitation and therapy practices
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments (physical and psychological)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Evaluate home and work environments and recommend modifications
- Recommend adaptive equipment for daily living
- Design rehabilitation programs to restore skills
- Educate patients, caregivers, and families
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
