Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania.
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

Home health experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and individualized plans of care.
Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment programs to improve function, safety, and independence.
Assess patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and recommend adaptive techniques or equipment as needed.
Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers on home safety, adaptive strategies, and ongoing therapy goals.
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate.
