Home Health LPN (AZ and NV Licensed)
About The Position
Billet Health is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a passion for total patient care to provide home health services to geriatric patients. The role involves assessing patient needs, collaborating with the RN case manager and Director of Nursing to ensure quality care, and traveling to patient homes. The company offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing nurses to build their own schedules and manage their caseload. Visits are typically 45-60 minutes long. Billet Health is Joint Commission certified and emphasizes going above and beyond in patient care, seeking nurses who can deliver outstanding and personal experiences.
Requirements
- Active LPN License in the state of practice
- Valid Driver License
- Valid Auto Insurance
- AZ Level One Fingerprint Card (Applicable if applying in Arizona only)
- CPR or BLS Certification
- Physical (Medical clearance to perform job duties; applicable if Nevada only)
- Valid TB Test (Skin test within the last year or x-ray within the last five years)
- Wound Care experience
Nice To Haves
- Licensed in both Arizona and Nevada
- New grads or seasoned nurses welcome
- Experience in Home Health is a plus, but training is provided for those new to the field.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs.
- Work with RN case manager and Director of Nursing to ensure commitment to quality patient care.
- Travel to patients' homes or facilities.
- Arrange visits with patients at times that work for both the nurse and the patient.
- Provide home health care to geriatric patients through a 9-week episode.
