Requirements
- Must have graduated from an approved school of Practical Nursing.
- Must be licensed to practice in the State of Indiana.
- Must have one year of nursing experience.
- Licensed Practical Nursing curriculum must have included a pharmacology course.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation; willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical nursing services in accordance with agency procedure manual policies and Licensed Practical Nurse licensure regulations.
- Prepares clinical and progress notes.
- Assists the patient in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
- Confers with case manager or clinical supervisor regarding changes in patient’s condition and needs.
