Requirements

Current Nevada Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Valid Nevada Driver's License, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
Current TB clearance (or ability to obtain)
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care

Nice To Haves

Home Health experience preferred, but motivated candidates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes under the direction of the Registered Nurse and physician
Perform nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with the patient's plan of care
Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the supervising RN and physician
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, disease processes, safety, and home care techniques
Accurately complete clinical documentation in a timely manner
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team
Maintain compliance with all state, federal, Medicare, and agency regulations
