This role involves providing personal healthcare and related services to patients in their homes, assisting in maintaining a safe and clean environment, and working collaboratively with patients, families, and supervisors under the direction of a registered nurse.
Requirements
- Current driver's license.
- At least one year experience preferred as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home or home health agency.
- Must be able to read, write, and verbally report clinical information to patients, representatives, and caregivers, as well as to other Agency staff.
- Demonstrates interest in the welfare of the ill and elderly.
- Proof of current CPR.
- Successful completion of the Aide Competency Evaluation Skills Checklist and written Skills Test.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid and current auto liability insurance.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma Preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal healthcare and related services to the patient/client in his or her place of residence.
- Assist in providing a safe and clean environment.
- Work cooperatively with the patient/client and family.
- Share observations and problems with the supervisor.
