About The Position
The Home Health Director of Operations oversees the daily operational, clinical, and administrative functions of the home health health agency to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient service delivery. This leader is responsible for strategic planning, staff management, performance improvement, and operational excellence for the home health department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in home health, hospice, or related healthcare operations.
- Strong knowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation, OASIS requirements, and state home health regulations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex operations, and drive organizational performance.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated financial acumen, including budgeting and operational cost management.
- Ability to build strong relationships with staff, referral partners, and community stakeholders.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and home health workflow technology.
