About The Position
Varco Home Health is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one therapy support in patients’ homes in San Antonio and surrounding areas. The role focuses on helping patients improve independence and safely perform daily activities. COTAs provide treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, reinforce therapy plans, monitor patient progress, educate patients and caregivers, and complete documentation. The position offers a flexible, self-managed schedule and consistent patient volume. Pay is $55–$58 per visit.
Requirements
- Active Texas COTA license.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home setting.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

- Home health experience.
- Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and safety.
- Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
