About The Position

All About Home Care is a Houston-based home health care agency that has been serving Houston and the surrounding communities since 2004, providing quality home health services. We are currently seeking PRN Home Health Aides/Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to serve patients in the Northeast area of Greater Houston , including Spring, Humble, Kingwood, Huffman, Crosby, Barrett, and surrounding areas. If you have experience in home health, we encourage you to submit your resume. We utilize Kinnser/WellSky software to document patient care. This is a skilled home health CNA position, NOT a caregiving or in-home provider services role. Visits are typically completed within 45 minutes to a maximum of 1 hour and are paid on a per-visit basis.

Requirements

  • Have a sympathetic attitude towards the care of the sick.
  • Be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Be able to carry out directions.
  • Show a high level of maturity and be able to deal effective with demands of the job.
  • Not be listed in the Nurse Aide Registry for misconduct.
  • Not convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor as evidence by a criminal history check.
  • Maintains current CPR.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and effective care to the sick and elderly.
  • Takes accurate temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Performs simple procedures as an extension of the therapy service as directed.
  • Follows Universal Precautions and washes hands before and after the care of each patient.
  • Completes all work assignments, turns notes in as required by Agency policy.
  • Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures of the Agency.
  • Adheres to Agency standards and consistency interprets and accurately performs all assigned responsibilities.
  • Maintains acceptable attendance status.
  • Reports incomplete work assignments to the RN.
  • Appearance is clean and well groomed.
  • Demonstrates effective time management skills through daily documentation.
  • Attends position related in-service, case conferences, and staff meetings.
  • Attends all mandatory in-service programs as scheduled.
  • Receives a minimum of 12 hours of in-service per calendar year (based on date of employment).
  • Maintains clean and neat work environment.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and decision making.
  • Coordinates care with RN and reports changes in the patient’s condition.
  • Maintains current CPR.
  • Participates in the Agency’s QAPI meetings
