About The Position
In-Home Caregiver – Franklin, MI CareOne Senior Care is currently hiring compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide personalized in-home care for clients in Franklin, Michigan. If you're passionate about helping seniors remain safe and independent in their own homes while working for a supportive and flexible employer, we'd love to meet you. As an In-Home Caregiver, you'll provide one-on-one care that enhances each client's quality of life through compassionate support and daily assistance. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Current vehicle insurance and registration
- Ability to perform the physical duties of caregiving
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Current TB test or willingness to obtain one before client placement
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Prepare meals and encourage healthy eating and hydration
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
- Assist with walking, mobility, and safe transfers
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
- Accompany clients to appointments or community outings when needed
- Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or emotional condition
- Complete required visit documentation and care notes
