About The Position

Join Assisting Hands Home Care as a compassionate caregiver and provide comfort, support, and companionship to seniors in their homes. This role focuses on helping seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. We are seeking caring and dependable individuals to serve clients in the Northwest Suburbs, including Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, and Park Ridge.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience (home care, CNA, or facility setting preferred)
• Reliable transportation, valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds and complete light physical tasks
• Strong communication and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Support mobility, safety, and daily routines
• Follow individualized care plans and accurately document care provided
• Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and office staff
