About The Position
Home Health Aides provide non-medical, in-home support to clients in Ashcom PA and surrounding communities. Assignments are matched based on client needs, caregiver availability, qualifications, and ability to travel.
Requirements
- Compassionate and professional approach to caregiving
- Ability to follow an individualized care plan
- Ability to complete required caregiver training and onboarding
- Transportation preferred; some client assignments require travel
- TB screening documentation
- EmmUcare competency training
- Other employment documentation required for the position
Nice To Haves
- No previous caregiving experience is required. EmmUcare provides training and support.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care, hygiene, and dressing
- Providing mobility and incontinence support
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Preparing meals
- Performing light housekeeping and laundry
- Assisting with errands and approved transportation
- Providing medication reminders
- Completing required care documentation
