About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is hiring compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide high-quality, one-on-one care to clients throughout Suffolk County. We currently have multiple cases available in Saint James, with a variety of weekday and weekend opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of HHA experience
- Valid NYS HHA Certificate
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Physical exam within the past year
- PPD/QuantiFERON within the past year OR chest X-ray within 5 years
- MMR immunizations within the past 10 years
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living
- Provide medication reminders
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment
