About The Position

Traditional Home Health Care is hiring compassionate, dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide one-on-one care to patients in Luzerne County. Traditional Home Health Care is a leader in the health care field, providing skilled nursing/aide services and state-of-the-art educational programs. Our goals are to restore patient health and increase their confidence in their abilities to lead healthier, more productive lives.

Requirements

Compassionate and dedicated.
Ability to provide one-on-one care.
Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Ability to provide emotional/behavioral support.
Ability to follow a plan of care.
Ability to interact as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to report changes in patient condition to agency/nurse case manager.

Nice To Haves

Experience in home health care.
Experience with school-aged children.
Experience with splints.

Responsibilities

Performs personal care/household duties (e.g., dressing, toileting, feeding, light housekeeping, hygiene, application and removal of splints, etc.) in a home/school setting.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Provide emotional/behavioral support.
Follows plan of care.
Ability to interact as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Reports any changes in the patient condition to agency/nurse case manager.
