About The Position
Assisting Hands West Orange is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a male client in Bushnell, FL. The client requires assistance with personal care, hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and physical transfers as outlined in a written Plan of Care. This role involves providing custodial and personal care services under the direction of the Staffing Coordinator. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with shifts dependent on assignment and client needs. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- HHA certificate
- CPR Card
- TB Results
- Alzheimer’s Certificate
- Domestic Violence Certificate
- HIV/AIDS Certificate
- OSHA Certificate
- Medical Errors or Assistance with Medications Certificate
- Dependent Adult Abuse (Elder Abuse) Certificate
- Level 2 background screening required
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred
- CNA certification
Responsibilities
- Assisting the client with personal hygiene, ambulation, and exercise, eating, dressing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties as assigned.
- Providing custodial and personal care services to clients in compliance with the Plan of Care.
- Working under the direction of the Staffing Coordinator.
