Haven Home CareNorton, OH

About The Position

Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides in Summit County, Ohio, offering multiple paths to employment based on an applicant's background. Candidates can start quickly if they have an active or expired STNA license (1-3 days), an HHA certificate (5-8 days), or 1+ year of supervised experience under an RN or LPN (5-8 days after verification). For those new to caregiving, free 32-hour online training is provided, leading to a start in 1-2 weeks. All paths lead to the same job, clients, and support. The role involves assisting older adults in their homes with daily life activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light cleaning, errands, and companionship. It is a physical job requiring aides to help people move and be on their feet most of the day, but it does not involve administering medicine or performing medical tasks. The company matches aides with clients based on their specified limits regarding pets, smoking, travel distance, and availability. This is a W-2 position with bi-weekly direct deposit, a structured raise system, and various bonus opportunities.
