About The Position

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one support to clients in their homes in Wilkes Barre. The role helps clients remain comfortable, supported, and independent while assisting with daily routines, companionship, and other tasks outlined in each client’s care plan. Caregivers receive onboarding guidance, training, and support from the office team. Flexible scheduling is arranged based on caregiver and client availability. Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer, with biweekly pay. EmmUcare Home Health is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

Compassion, patience, and respect for each client’s privacy and preferences.
Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
Reliable transportation to assigned visits.
Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

Follow each client’s care plan.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving client dignity.
Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
