About The Position

Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides in Summit County, Ohio. The start time varies based on your background: STNA license holders can start in 1-3 days, those with an HHA certificate (30+ hours) or 1+ year of experience working under an RN or LPN can start in 5-8 days, and individuals new to caregiving can be trained for free and start in 1-2 weeks. All paths lead to the same job, clients, and support. The role involves assisting clients, primarily older adults, with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light cleaning, errands, and companionship. This is a physical role requiring you to be on your feet and assist clients with mobility. You will not be administering medication or performing medical tasks. The company offers performance-based raises, opportunities for bonuses through referrals, and a consistent client base. They emphasize matching aides with clients based on stated limits regarding pets, smoking, travel distance, and availability. Requirements

  • Driver's license
  • Own car with insurance that covers work driving
  • Pass background checks
  • Work at least 20 hours/week
  • Available between 6AM-8PM
  • Legal right to work in the US
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • STNA license (active or expired) OR HHA certificate (30+ hours, signed by RN unless online) OR 1+ year of experience working under an RN or LPN at a qualifying facility OR complete free 32-hour online HHA training.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as baths, getting dressed, meals, light cleaning, and errands.
  • Provide companionship to clients.
  • Help clients move around.
  • Follow company policies.
  • Accept clients that match your specified limits.
  • Report incidents within 24 hours.
  • Answer office calls and texts quickly.
  • Send updated documents when requested (insurance, license, training).
  • Complete feedback forms when sent.
  • Be on time for shifts.
  • Clock in and out using the app or phone.
  • Follow call-off procedures if unable to make a shift.
