About The Position

Serenity Courts of Sandstone is looking for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care assistance to clients. This role offers in-house training to help you start your career in healthcare, with no prior experience needed. The position is part-time, with evening and overnight shifts available. Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change based on the needs of the clients and the organization.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Strong organizational skills for maintaining medical records and documentation.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
Ability to adapt to different client needs and situations.
Ability to Relocate: Sandstone, MN: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care or catheter changes.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Prepare and cook meals according to dietary restrictions and client preferences.
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist clients with special needs or disabilities in managing daily activities.
