About The Position
CareOne Senior Care is expanding its team and is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in-home support to clients in Highland Park, Michigan. Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- Strong communicators with a positive attitude
- Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and vehicle registration
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Willing to obtain a current TB test before client placement if one is not already available
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving, home health, direct care, or personal care experience is welcomed but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
- Preparing meals and encouraging proper nutrition
- Performing light housekeeping and laundry
- Assisting with mobility, walking, and safe transfers
- Providing medication reminders according to the care plan
- Escorting clients to appointments or community activities when assigned
- Observing and reporting changes in client condition
- Completing required care documentation
