About The Position

The Home Health Aide provides patients with assistance in activities of daily living within their homes. This role involves varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. The aide addresses needs related to disabilities, disease, and mental impairment, helping patients manage medications, bathe, dress, take care of household chores, prepare meals, and pay bills. Decisions typically focus on interpreting area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. The position works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, with some latitude over prioritization/timing, and operates under minimal direction. It follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion. This role is considered patient-facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. OneHome coordinates a full range of post-acute care, including home health, infusion therapy, and durable medical equipment services at patients' homes, creating an integrated point of accountability that coordinates with physicians, hospitals, and health plans.

Requirements

  • HHA 75 Hour Certificate or Current CNA State License
  • CPR certification
  • OSHA Certificate
  • HIV/AIDS Certificate
  • HIPAA Certificate
  • Alzheimer's Certificate
  • Domestic Violence Certificate
  • Minimum 1+ year(s) professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors
  • Required to be screened for TB
  • Must have a valid in-state driver’s license
  • Provide current registration and insurance
  • Have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
  • Proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits
