Home Health Aide - Pegasus at Home
About The Position
At Pegasus at Home, you'll do more than provide care; you'll help seniors stay independent, active, connected, and living life on their terms. As a Home Health Aide, you'll build meaningful relationships while providing companionship, personal care, transportation, errands, meal preparation, light housekeeping, pet care, and support with daily activities. You'll become a trusted part of residents' lives while helping them continue doing the things they love. No Two Days Are the Same! One morning you may help a resident get ready for a doctor's appointment. In the afternoon, you could be accompanying someone to lunch with friends, helping with grocery shopping, walking their dog, preparing a meal, or simply sharing conversation and companionship that makes their day a little brighter.
Requirements
- Home Health Aide certification or caregiving experience preferred
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Compassionate, dependable, and service-focused
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while building trusting relationships
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
