About The Position

Purpose Care is looking for qualified, dependable, honest, reliable, Home Health Aides, STNA's, PCAs and CNA Caregivers to care for the needs of our clients in the New Lexington, Ohio area and surrounding counties. PurposeCare is a leading provider of home care and home health services in the Midwest, providing home-based care services to more than 3,000 clients a month. They aim to keep clients healthy and safe at home through excellent caregivers and innovative technology, ensuring vulnerable individuals have the support to live full lives in their community.

Requirements

Worked with a Home Health Agency or nursing Facility within the past year
Minimum of 1 full year of recent experience
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be at least 18 years old
Candidates must complete a written Competency evaluation
Must complete a skills assessment
Able to independently lift 25lbs
Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired
Demonstrate patience, and good personal hygiene
Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping

Responsibilities

Providing personal care to include: Baths, Showers, Bed Baths, Sponge Baths, Oral hygiene, Shampoos, Changing bed linens, Assisting patients with dressing/undressing and grooming, Assisting the patient with toileting activities, Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly
Doing patient’s laundry, cleaning and meal preparations
