About The Position

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support in Hartleton, Pennsylvania. Caregivers help clients remain comfortable, supported, and independent in their own homes through one-on-one assistance with daily routines, personal care, and companionship. The role includes following each client’s care plan, communicating with the office team, and recording care tasks using an electronic visit verification system. Onboarding guidance, caregiver training, and office support are provided. Flexible scheduling is discussed in relation to caregiver and client availability. Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required. Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer, with biweekly pay.

Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
Reliable transportation to assigned visits.
Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.

Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

Follow each client’s care plan.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving the client’s dignity.
Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
