About The Position
Matrix Home Care is actively seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to assist a patient in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (Zip Code 33418). The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with a pay rate of $17–18 per hour. The patient requires assistance with walker and wheelchair mobility, support with activities of daily living (ADLs), light personal care assistance, and will be present with a small dog in the home.
Requirements
- Active HHA certificate or CNA license preferred
- Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Subject to background screening per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, including fingerprinting and review for eligibility before employment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide compassionate companionship and support
- Observe and report any patient condition changes to clinical staff
