About The Position
Human Touch Home Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one care for patients throughout Washington, DC. This role focuses on personalized care in patients' homes, building relationships, and providing comfort and encouragement to help patients remain safe, comfortable, and independent.
Requirements
- Active Washington, DC Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification Required
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in patients' homes
Nice To Haves
- Previous home care experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping related to patient care
- Observe and report changes in patient condition
- Document care provided according to company guidelines
