About The Position

This role focuses on providing one-to-one patient care as a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA). The position offers flexible shifts, clinical support, and opportunities for advanced skill-building, paid continuing education units (CEUs), and nurse-mentored career tracks. HHAs will follow detailed plans of care, nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of clients. The role emphasizes reliable schedules with options for days, evenings, or overnights, consistent hours, and mileage reimbursement. Requirements

Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide program (HHA certificate).
Minimum 1 year of paid home-health or hospice experience.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach clients’ homes.
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
Clear, confident communication skills.
Passion for relationship-centered care.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as transfers, bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, ensuring client dignity.
Maintain a safe and sanitized home environment by changing linens, performing light laundry, and ensuring the space is hazard-free.
Provide medication reminders, observe for changes in client condition, and document vital signs or concerning signs for the supervising nurse.
Engage in therapeutic activities such as reading aloud, reminiscing, guiding range-of-motion exercises, or accompanying clients on short walks to promote mental and physical wellness.
Accurately document care notes, progress, and concerns in the digital charting system before the end of each shift.
