About The Position

Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide. This is a Part Time position with a Day Shift. The hourly range is $15.75 - $20.45. We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.

Requirements

CNA, or nurse aide/assistant certificate from accredited school (required)
First Aid Basics (Required)
BLS (Required within 90 days)
Basic and routine patient care
Personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding
Intake/output
Ambulation
Assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home
