About The Position
Edison Home Health Care of NY, a Help at Home® company, is hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) in your community TODAY! We offer weekly pay starting up to $18.65 per hour plus a $500 hiring bonus! As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you’ll work 1-on-1 with your clients inside their homes, and support them with various activities. We are an industry leader with over 40 years of history in a high-demand field and encourage veterans, active military, and their spouses to apply.
Requirements
- Valid HHA Certificate
- Valid ID
- Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training
- Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements.

Responsibilities
- Light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry and basic cleaning
- Personal activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and assisting with meals
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of the client.
- Use of special equipment (i.e. Hoyer Lift)
- Taking temperature, pulse, and respiration as directed.
- Routine or delegated nursing tasks (i.e. taking temp, pulse, respiration, collect stool or urine specimens, reinforce dressings, empty urinary or ostomy bags etc.)
