Requirements
- Compassion, patience, and respect for each client’s privacy and preferences.
- Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
- The ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
- Reliable transportation to assigned visits and the ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.
Responsibilities
- Follow each client’s care plan and help with tasks such as:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving dignity.
- Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
- Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
- Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
- Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
- Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using our electronic visit verification system.
