About The Position

This role focuses on providing the highest quality of care to Nightingale Private Care clients utilizing the Plan of Care provided to ensure clients' needs are met in relation to safety, well-being and satisfaction. Responsibilities include helping patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks, performing basic health care services such as checking vital signs or administering prescription medication, assisting with general light housekeeping, and driving/escorting clients to and from appointments/activities safely and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• HHA Certification (Required)
• CPR certification (on-line courses not accepted)
• TB Test or Chest X-ray done within last six months.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• This role requires a screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of care to Nightingale Private Care clients utilizing the Plan of Care provided to ensure clients' needs are met in relation to safety, well-being and satisfaction.
• Help patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily tasks.
• Perform basic health care services for patients including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication.
• Help with general light housekeeping.
• Drives/escorts client to and from appointments/activities as requested, resulting in a safe and timely transport.
