About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is hiring New York State Certified HHAs for one-on-one home care opportunities in Manhasset and throughout Nassau County. Male HHAs and Drivers are strongly encouraged to apply, but non-drivers are also welcome. This position offers a consistent weekday and weekend schedule with opportunities for flexible per diem work, consistent one-on-one cases, and day, evening, and weekend shifts. Additional opportunities are available for caregivers with reliable transportation.

Requirements

• CURRENT NEW YORK STATE HHA CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience
• Current physical and PPD/QuantiFERON documentation
• MMR documentation
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Reliable and professional
• Compassionate approach to client care

Responsibilities

• Personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship
• Observe and report changes in client condition
