About The Position
Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide. Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.
Requirements
- CNA or nurse assistant/nurse aide certificate (one of these is required)
- Experience in basic and routine patient care
- Experience with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
- Experience with meal preparation and feeding
- Experience with intake/output monitoring
- Experience with ambulation
- Experience assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home
